The Across The Years 72-Hour Endurance Race is over and Vikena Yutz was the female winner putting down 216.237 miles during the three-day race.  Not only was she the #1 female, but Kena placed sixth overall.

Second place female went to Joan Hellman with 200.082 miles and third to Iliana Dimitrova with 157.518 miles.

All of the ATY races take place in Buckeye, Arizona at the Nardini Manor each year.

The 72-Hour male winner was George Biondic who covered an astounding 248.548 miles. Truly, a bionic man! Second place went to Andreas Falk and Ed Ettinghausen who both  did 238.607 miles.

Here is the official finisher’s medal from the 2010 Rocket City Marathon in Huntsville, Alabama.  You won’t find too much bling more colorful than Rocket City’s out on the marathon trail.

Here is the 2010 St. Jude (Children’s Hospital) Memphis Marathon medal.  Some fine bling indeed and one of the larger finisher medals from the 2010 racing circuit.

Photos from the 2010 Flying Monkey Marathon in Nashville’s Harpeth Hills.

Ben Schneider won the race with a time of 2:38:27 (Full Story).

Traci Falbo was the fastest female finishing at 3:21:20 (Full Story).

Many elite and freak runners were at the Monkey this year, in addition to Ben and Traci, including Dallas Smith, Chuck Engle, Josh Hite, Michael Henze, Naresh Kumar, Angela Ivory, Gary Krugger, Morgan Cummings, Catie Caldwell, Chris Estes, Meredith Smith, and Samantha Green among many others.

Here is the beautiful finisher’s medal from the 2010 Mardi Gras Marathon in historic New Orleans, Louisiana.

The course for the race is one of the most beautiful, flat, and enjoyable in the United States.

The 2011 Rock n’ Roll Mardi Gras Marathon and Half Marathon is on February 13, 2011 (event website).
