RIF #121 Ed Ettinghausen is still in the lead with 743.8 points! Ed, the Jester, is followed by RIF #279 George Southgate in second with 434.3 points and RIF #1 Joshua Holmes is now in third with 385.8 points. They are also the top 3 on the Men’s Leaderboard.

RIF #323 Jennifer Hatcher leads the women with 298.9 points. Jennifer is now followed by RIF #287 Carol Earles in second with 295.4 points and RIF #280 Suzy Michelson in third with 175.3 points.

RIF #101 David Wingard, from Greenville, South Carolina, is the winner of the Run It Fast Club’s – 2013 Extreme Racer.

David accumulated 1,928.3 points for 2013. Run It Fast – Club members earn 1 point for every 1 race mile from races they complete during the year. So David ran races totaling 1,928.3 miles for the year. He averaged 160.7 race miles per month in becoming ‘Extreme Racer of the Year.’

It was a very close race for the top spot as runner-up RIF #190 John Leighton finished the year with 1,910.9 points, less than 18 points behind David.  RIF #1 Joshua Holmes finished in third place with 1,834.7 points.

RIF #159 Diane Bolton, who let Extreme Racer, for most of the year ended up in 4th place and the female with the most ER points for 2013. Other women to finish in the Top 10 Overall included RIF #218 Carol Goslin, RIF #287 Carol Earles, and RIF #261 Kerri Haskins.

RIF #190 John Kent Leighton is our new Extreme Racer Leader with 1845.7 points and RIF #159 Diane Bolton is now in 2nd with 1731.05 points. RIF #1 Joshua Holmes rounds out the Top 3 in 3rd with 1655.9 points.

There was no change in the Top 3 of either the Women’s or Men’s Leaderboards. On the Women’s Leaderboard, Diane is in 1st, followed by RIF #218 Carol Goslin in 2nd with 1261.6 points, and RIF #287 Carol Earles in 3rd with 1043.59 points. RIF #1 Joshua Holmes and fellow RIFers at the Flying Monkey Marathon

RIFers raced around the world! Well, they have raced over 25,000 miles so far this year so if they had done a relay, they would have run around the world…and then some. 🙂 Here are the October 2013 Extreme Racer Standings:

It’s time for the September Extreme Racer update! Time sure flies, huh? Especially when you are running. 🙂

The Top 3 on the Extreme Racer Leaderboard are still the same – RIF #159 Diane Bolton is in the lead with 1533.25 points, followed by RIF #190 John Kent Leighton in 2nd with 1426.7 points, and RIF #1 Joshua Holmes in 3rd with 1321.8 points.

On the Women’s Leaderboard, there was a flip with the 2 Carols – Diane is in 1st, followed by RIF #218 Carol Goslin in 2nd now with 974.1 points, and RIF #287 Carol Earles in 3rd with 933.69 points. The Men’s Leaderboard is still the same top 3 –  John is in 1st followed by Joshua in 2nd and RIF #279 George Southgate in 3rd with 1135.47 points.

It’s time for the August Extreme Racer update! Not much has changed since the July update though. RIF #159 Diane Bolton is still in the lead with 1387.9 points, followed by RIF #190 John Kent Leighton in 2nd with 1246.3 points, and RIF #1 Joshua Holmes in 3rd with 1185.6 points.

On the Women’s Leaderboard, Diane is in 1st, followed by RIF #287 Carol Earles in 2nd with 798.59 points, and RIF #218 Carol Goslin is back in 3rd with 748.3 points. On the Men’s Leaderboard, John is in 1st followed by Joshua in 2nd and RIF #279 George Southgate in 3rd with 1064.07 points.

Once again, the Top Ten is split evenly with 5 Women and 5 Men which is very cool to see! Many of the Top Ten…in fact, quite a few Run It Fast Club members, are racing addicts with 50, 100, and 200+ races under their belts. You know what they say…you can’t keep a good woman down! RIF #159 Diane Bolton is back in the lead in the Extreme Racer Standings. After running a little race called the Last Annual Vol State 500K in Tennesse in July, Diane has vaulted herself back into the lead with 1304 points! RIF #190 John Kent Leighton is now in 2nd with 1092.6 points followed closely by RIF #1 Joshua Holmes in 3rd with 1059.4 point (after also completing the Last Annual Vol State 500K).

On the Women’s Leaderboard, Diane is in 1st, followed by RIF #287 Carol Earles in 2nd with 734 points and RIF #217 Elaine Bickel Green in 3rd with 659.5 points. On the Men’s Leaderboard, John is in 1st followed by Joshua in 2nd and RIF #279 George Southgate in 3rd with 980.67 points.

RIF #259 Rob Distante

 It’s only March and RIF Club Members have already raced 102 marathons, 8 50 Milers, 30 50Ks, 45 Half Marathons, 36 5Ks, and handful of 100 milers, 10Ks, and other distances. What a year we are having! We now have 57 RIF Club members who have submitted points and/or monthly miles for 2013 (only points count in the standings so only 54 Club members are listed below)

We have a new member in the top 3! Superwoman, RIF #159 Diane Bolton, is still in the lead with 506.9 points, followed by RIF #259 Rob Distante with 409.13 in 2nd and RIF #190 John Kent Leighton rounds out the top 3 with 403.9 points in 3rd.

On the Women’s Leaderboard, Diane is in 1st, followed by RIF #44 Heather Shoemaker in 2nd with 261.8 points and RIF #218 Carol Goslin in 3rd with 195.1 points. On the Men’s Leaderboard, Rob is in 1st, followed by John in 2nd, and RIF #1 Joshua Holmes in 3rd with 355.5 points.

Besides RIF #259 Rob, RIF #88 Hideki Kinoshita (266 points) is new to the top 10 along with RIF #248 Jeff Le (197.76 points) and RIF #261 Kerri Haskins (192 points). The new members are really giving the rest of us a run for our money!
