Ethiopia’s Gebo Burka wins the 2014 Los Angeles Marathon with a time of 2:10:37.

The female winner today was Amane Gobena, also from Ethiopia, in a time of 2:27:40.

The smaller medal was given to Hudi for his daughter (who he ran an awesome 3:49 with while pushing her stroller). Cute! 🙂

This is the medal that the finishers of the Dry Creek Trail Marathon received on February 23, 2014 in Ashland City, Tennessee.

That’s right….no medals were given to finishers of this first year event. Hopefully, if this event continues, they will step it up, especially for $85.

Some of the live and featured tweets we came across for the 2014 Little Rock Marathon in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Bad weather caused some of the runners to be diverted to a shorter distance. The really fast and really slow runners (that took the 6am start) where able to finish the official 26.2 mile distance.

The overall winner was Mark Chepses in 2:25:42 and the overall female winner was (RIF #34) Leah Thorvilson in 2:42:39, her fifth Little Rock Marathon win.

This is the medal the finishers of the Cummins Falls Marathon received on February 22, 2014 in Cookeville, Tennessee.

This medal is made out of wood and was engraved with a laser. It’s unique!!
