It’s crisp, simple and well done. Kudos to the RD for not over thinking this medal. Now if you can plant that medal and it grows into a tree would really be something.

Here is the finisher’s medal from the Rumspringa Half Marathon that took place on April 21, 2012 in Adamstown, Pennsylvania.

To quote any teenager that hypothetically would have received this medal, ‘SMH! WTF!’

I didn’t know either. So I asked Melly Mel, who submitted the medal photo, what exactly the device in the photo happened to be.

Her response, “It’s a cuckoo whistle of course!”

Well duh, silly me!

Said, hypothetical teenager immediately turned this ‘medal’ into a homemade smoking device!
