Christoph Niemann’s Draws the NYC Marathon in 45 Sketches

Christoph Niemann is an illustrator for the ‘Abstract Sunday’ column in the New York Times Magazine.

Niemann live-illustrated and drew the the 2011 ING New York City Marathon on Sunday as he ran the race.  A man of many talents to be able to draw and paint throughout the race.  You can view all 45 sketches he made during the race below.
