It’s time to vote for your favorite April 2012 race medal! We had some really fun ones submitted in April and we picked 15 for you to to choose from. It was hard but I’ve already picked mine!

The medal chosen as the Best Race Medal for April 2012 will be included in the contest for the Best Race Medal of 2012 at the end of the year. Oh, by the way…the March 2012 Best Race Medal vote is still open if you didn’t get a chance to vote and the Rock ‘N’ Roll New Orleans medal is in the lead.

A lot, I know, but I’m sure you’ll have no problem picking a favorite! Oh, by the way…the February 2012 Best Race Medal vote will be open for one more week. The Surf City medal is in the lead!

This is the medal for the Key Biscayne Half Marathon that was held on April 29, 2012 in Key Biscayne, Florida.

A nice simple but big medal that the runners earned in crazy, hurricane like weather!

This is the medal for the Stonewall Peak Half Marathon that was held in Cuyamaca Rancho State Park, CA on July 14, 2012.

The medal does not do justice to how beautiful this trail run was! It was the most beautiful course I’ve done so far.

This is the medal for the Duo At The Ledge Half Marathon that was held on July 7, 2012 in Grand Ledge, MI.

It was a hot, hot Half so congrats to all the runners who finished and earned the medal!

We receive a lot of medals each month and it’s so fun to see all of them. We are going to have Run It Fast readers vote on their favorite medal for each month. At the end of the year, we’ll have a vote for the best medal of the year! We’ve already had the vote for January Medals so thank you to all of you who voted! The medal that received the most votes in the January 2012 Medals was the Inaugural Louisiana Marathon Medal.
