The Jackal Trail Marathons – that will take place on June 22-25, 2013 in Jackson, Tennessee.
The Jackal Trail Marathon and Backass Jackal Trail Marathon will be low-key, run at your own risk event. They take place on a trail in Tennessee in June. So expect it to be HOT and there could be snakes, deer, coyotes, and other wildlife.
Water will be provided at two spots along the 3.80 mile loop. You WILL NEED a hand-held or water belt/Camelbak to hold your water and keep you hydrated. You will be allowed a drop bag at the start/finish water station. Bring what you will need to get you through this race including coolers/ice, etc.
The Backass Jackal Marathon will take place the day after The Jackal Marathon on the same course, but the loops will be run in the opposite direction as the day before.
The Asphalt Jackal Marathon will take place on asphalt/pavement on a loop course with water/aid available at race headquarters at the Start/Finish every loop. The loop will be approximately 2.5 miles long.
The Mystery/Dragonfly Jackal Marathon will take place the following day in Jackson, TN. Details will be made available on that one in the next couple of weeks. It will be a loop course.

Course: Jackal and Backass Jackal is Trail, 7 – 3.75 mile loops. Asphalt Jackal and Mystery/Dragonfly is 2.91 mile paved loops in Pinson Mounds State Park.
